Jake Gaba, Sarah Blettner and Parker Starr have been named National Merit Semifinalists.
Three Lake Highlands seniors have been named semifinalists in the 2012 National Merit Scholarship Program. Jake Gaba, Sarah Blettner and Parker Starr will now move on in the competition, in hopes of earning National Merit Scholarships in the spring.
In addition to their high achievement in the classroom, all three students are involved in extracurricular activities too numerous to mention here. Jake is senior class president, Sarah is captain of the drill team and Parker is a leader on the varsity wrestling squad.
Congratulations, Wildcats!
