The dog days of summer are winding down, but the season for hanging at the park with your pooch is in full swing. Dog Day Afternoon is 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11 at Flag Pole Hill near White Rock Lake.
The free event features goodie bags, live music, games, food and performances by the Dallas Dog and Disc Club. Plus, enter your canine in contests (best costume, best pooch smooch, doggie bulldozer, to name a few) for prizes.
