The Highlandettes are hosting their big Garage Sale this weekend, and they’ve added a Pre-Sale Friday night from 9-10pm for those who like to be first to make their selections. You’ll pay a $5 entry fee to shop early, or you can wait until Saturday to shop all day for free.
Proceeds from the annual 50+ family sale go to fund the Dettes performances, costumes, props and travel. Expect to find furniture, clothing, housewares, toys and other gently-used treasures from Dette families and their neighbors. They’ll even have a “boutique area” for designer goods and higher end items. Doors open at 8am and the sale runs until 2pm Saturday.
Oh, and the previously advertised Father-Daughter Car Wash has been canceled this year – the environmentally-minded Dettes say it just doesn’t seem right during this drought.
