Steve Blow, longtime columnist for the Dallas Morning News, will be speaking at Lake Highlands United Methodist Church at lunchtime on Wednesday, August 31st. Blow, who frequently harkens back in his column to “the good ole days,” will share a light-hearted talk on wordplay and old-timey expressions. The community is invited.
Blow’s columns have earned top awards from the Dallas Press Club, the Headliners Club of Austin and the Associated Press.

The charge for lunch and the speaker is just $6 and your check can be mailed to the church at LHUMC, PO Box 551389, Dallas TX 75355. The event will be held at noon in Fellowship Hall at the church, 9015 Plano Road at McCree.
