Jetsetter 020808 is an architecture enthusiast who posts observations from his world travels on YouTube. Recently he posted this video of the demolition of the office building at 635 and Forest, which will become a Quick Trip.
Personally, seeing as how the building has been defunct and home to god-know-what sorts of animals and (sadly probably) humans (and has occupied at least one police patrol car that had been parking there all day every day), Quick Trip will be welcome.
Jetsetter 020808, on the other hand, thinks it’s a shame that we are tearing down a nice piece of architecture for a gas station.
Either way, I watched it come down in segments, and it was rather creepy and fascinating.
