Alligator Cafe, which has its original location on Live Oak, will open a second restaurant in Casa Linda, next to Albertson’s in the former Frankie’s Lil Europe space.
Alligator chef and owner Ivan Pugh provides from-scratch Cajun food – that’s what it says on his website anyway. We can say with authority that from the alligator & crawfish gumbo to the boudin balls—it’s, hands-down, one of the best Cajun-cookin’ spots in Dallas.
The original location features live music too, and the Casa Linda space would certainly lend itself to the same.
This morning I put in a call to AmReit (Casa Linda’s leasing company) to find out more about the open date, etc. Will keep you posted.
