Kent Shields of Lake Highlands recently was named president and chief executive officer of C.C. Young retirement community.
Shields had been interim president and CEO since June 2010, and before that, he was chief operating officer.
Shields joined C. C. Young in 1995 following a 25 year career in the United States Air Force. He has a master’s degree in business and a master’s degree in long-term care. As the COO at C. C. Young, he directed operations and led C. C. Young through three renovations and numerous new construction efforts.
