Longtime volunteer with the Solar Soccer Club, David Ringer, has been charged with theft and misappropriation of funds.
A grand jury Wednesday indicted Lake Highlands resident and attorney David Ringer, 58, on charges of theft and misappropriation of funds in the amount of about $800,000 during his time as a volunteer with the Solar Soccer Club.
Ringer called accusations by club players’ parents back in April, “unfounded”.
An indictment report states Ringer began dipping into club funds about five years ago and issuing checks to his law firm.
Ringer declined to comment to a Dallas Morning News reporter.
