Ahh, spring. The Mavs are in the playoffs and the Rangers are in full swing. Saturday also marks the kickoff of football season in Lake Highlands, as the neighborhood gets its first glimpse of Wildcat football at the annual Red White Game.

Before the game, check out the LH tradition where graduating senior players are introduced wearing t-shirts of the college they’ll attend next year. Cheerleaders and Bell Boys will do the same, and senior Highlandettes will perform a high kick in their college jerseys. After the intrasquad scrimmage, the Exchange Club will serve about 1,000 hot dogs, cookies and drinks to the crowd.
