Lake Highlands High couldn’t get it going against Sachse on Saturday, scoring only two runs on two hits, as the Lady Wildcats lost 15-2 in the first round of the Region II Bi-District Playoffs.
Sachse crushed the ball for 16 hits, Brooke Elkins picked-up a triple and Demi Thompson added a double to the mix for the high scoring Lady Mustangs.
Sachse’s Kelsey Payne added to the wound by limiting the Lady Wildcats bats.
The District 9-5A Champion Lady Wildcats finish the season 20-2 overall, with a remarkable run.
