Bethany Lutheran Church is hosting Seryn, a 5 piece band making waves in the “folk-pop” music world, for a live performance benefitting the Mount Olive Food Pantry. “They have quite unique harmonies,” said church member Barb Claussen, who has seen the group perform before. “Their sound is amazing, and it’s a small church, so the setting will be rather intimate.” You can hear their music here or see their music video here.

Your suggested donation of $15 is enough to buy 3 snack packs, consisting of a can of Vienna sausages, a package of tuna, crackers, a drink and a dessert. People in need who show up at the pantry are given a snack pack, and it’s usually the best meal they get all week.

Bethany Lutheran is located at 10101 Walnut Hill at Ferndale, across from LHJH. Doors open at 7 pm, and the band A Civil Relation plays at 7:30. Seryn, the headliner, goes on at 8 pm.
