Lake Highlands High baseball split a Thursday-Friday series that dealt all of the hands in the playoff hunt in District 9-5A.
The Wildcats lost at home to Jesuit 11-3 on Thursday, but on Friday night, LHHS slipped past Skyline for a 5-4 win. Dylan Porter was credited with the win and Blake Woodson hit two home runs to lift the Wildcats over the district rivals.
On Tuesday, LHHS will finish out the season in a seeding match Friday at 7 p.m. at Richardson.
If Lake Highlands wins, they will have complete control of third place, but if they lose the Wildcats and Eagles will be tied.
LHHS rolled out a 6-1 win on 10 hits the last time these two teams met.
