After beating Samuel High Friday at home, 13-0, Lake Highlands High had another District 9-5A opponent in their sites.
The Wildcats traveled to W.T. White Tuesday in hopes of moving ahead in the district standings. Instead, LHHS, White and Richardson are all still knotted up at 6-3 in district play.
LHHS lost 8-4 despite another home run by Hudson Taylor. The Wildcats put four runs up on four hits, and the Longhorns spread eight runs over 10 hits.
The Wildcats have a pretty sweet two games at home against Sunset Friday at 7 p.m., and Jesuit Tuesday, April 19 at 7 p.m. for senior night, before heading on the road to Skyline and Richardson to finish the season.
