A few names to keep an eye on for the boys side, Meron Fessahaie, you’ve seen his name on this blog before. Fessahaie burned up the cross country tracks in the fall and is favored to win the 800 and the mile run in district. At the Sheaner Relays, Fessahaie ran a 4:19 mile. Yeah, you can’t do that, check this kid out.
Victor Iwuagwu cleared 14-feet on the pole vault at the Samuel Invitationals last weekend, and has a shot at winning the district tile. Iwuagwu cleared 14-feet-6 inches in the indoor season at the Club Atlus Season’s Greeter.
David Green has a solid chance to win the 200-meter and could medal in the 100-meter, and Zach Knickman has a shot to medal in the shot-put or the discuss.
