Don’t miss this Saturday’s Las Vegas-style casino party and auction, hosted by the Lake Highlands Exchange Club. The Casino Royale theme means you can expect to see lots of folks dressed as their favorite James Bond character enjoying their favorite adult beverage shaken, not stirred.
Proceeds of their 21st annual charity dinner event will go to provide college scholarships to graduating LHHS seniors and support for various community projects. The party will be held at Park Lane Ranch, 8787 Park Lane. Cocktails and dinner begin at 6:30 pm, with gaming at 7:30 and a live auction at 10:30. Blogger CAROL TOLER and her husband, Toby, are the parents of four LHHS graduates. She has an MBA from SMU and is the proud recipient of the Exchange Club of LH's Unsung Hero Award and Councilman McGough's Blake Anderson Public Service Award. She received LHHS PTA's Extended Service Award, FMJH PTA's Charger Award and a Life Membership from the LHFC PTA. She has moderated candidate debates for Dallas Mayor, Dallas City Council and RISD Trustee races and taught seminars on garnering publicity for nonprofits. She completed training with Dallas Truth, Racial Healing and Transformation and Inside RISD, and she's a sustaining member of LH Women's League.
