Emmet Kumeh surprised the Richardson Eagles with a quick score to start the game.
Lake Highlands senior Emmet Kumeh scored in the first two minutes last night to put the Cats up 1-0 against the Richardson Eagles, and the crowd relaxed anticipating a Wildcat victory. The celebration didn’t last.
The Eagles tied it up by half time and locked up the win with two late-game goals. On a brighter note, no new injuries were sustained by this team which has kept trainer Jessica Nelson hopping, and a fresh round of report cards is rumored to have all green lights for those who’ve been ineligible to play.
Tuesday night, the Wildcats play Samuell High at The Boneyard. The JV kicks off at 5:30 pm and the varsity follows at 7. Go Cats!
