The Tal Morrison Classic 15k and 5k is scheduled for Sat. Feb. 5 at 8 a.m. It’s another White Rock Lake run, a dime a dozen this time of year, but this time high school kids are getting scholarships.

Update: Friday’s performance of The Executioner’s Son has been called off due to weather.
Through Feb. 19, Echo Theater at the Bath House Cultural Center presents The Executioner’s Son, a dark, 15th-century comedy about a castle executioner’s struggle to raise his children. Performances run at 8 p.m. Thursdays-Saturdays at the Bath House Cultural Center, 521 E. Lawther. Admission is $20 in advance, $25 at the door and $15 for matinees.
