White Rock Coffee hosts three talented musical guests this weekend. Nightbirds, TX open on Friday night, Cameron Ernst on Saturday, and Blake Davis rounds up the weekend on Sunday. Each performance is at 8 p.m. There is no cover but bring some extra cash for coffee and pastries and enjoy the music!
Runners will start their Texas Half Marathon and 5k around White Rock Lake Saturday at 8 a.m. The half marathon runs around White Rock Lake for a scenic view of the lake on a nice morning with cool temperatures. Walkers are welcome! Late registration starts at 6:30 am Saturday. It is $60 for the half marathon and $25 for the 5k. Or just come out and cheer.
The Lake Highlands High School Choir will be hosting their second annual garage sale in Lake Highlands High School’s cafeteria Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. This sale benefits the choirs’ various school year expenses and raises much needed funds for trips. There is a multitude of items to sift through and many treasures to be found!
