Lake Highlands High took advantage of a 20-4 third quarter on the road to finish off Sunset High 68-45 Tuesday night at Sprague.
Taylor Stell, 18, Trey Bingham, 17, and James Preston, 16, lit up the scoreboard on the way to victory.
By the end of the third quarter, the Wildcats led by 22 points and were well on the way to victory.
Lake Highlands will host Berkner Friday night in what is certain to be an intriguing match-up. Both teams are undefeated in District 9-5A play and are looking to gain any advantage possible in the playoff push.
