The guys will be led by this year’s newly selected captains: Seniors Drew Donica & Emmet Kumeh and Juniors Murphy Short and Mason Miller. The team earned District Champion honors last year and hopes to go even deeper into the playoffs, but they’ll have to do it without varsity goalkeeper Jeffrey Brooks, who broke his left wrist at practice in December. Freshman Mickey Raine is expected to be called up to defend the net.

The Cats play again Friday night at 7 – the boys at home and girls away against North Mesquite, and the infamous Ice Bowl Tournament will be held here in Lake Highlands next week. Go Cats!
