If you’re ready to put up your Christmas tree, you can buy a beauty and support the Lake Highlands High School Lady Wildcats basketball team at the same time. Patton Christmas Trees is set up to help, selling from a big tent in front of the Sam’s Club at Northwest Highway and Garland Road. They’re open 7 days a week from 9am to 9 pm, and they’ll donate $5 for every 7 foot tree at $10 for ever 8 footer or bigger. Proceeds go to the LHHS Wildcat Club (Patton’s will ask you to check Wildcat Club on a form provided).

The Lady Cats are on a winning streak, and they play their first district game tonight at home. Advocate blogger Cory Mageors will continue to keep us updated on the team. Go Cats!
