LHHS finishes third at the 47th Annual HP Scot Classic after beating Highland Park
Lake Highlands first and third quarters against Highland Park at the 47ty Annual Highland Park Scot Classic Basketball Tournament weren’t fantastic, but the Wildcats second and fourth quarters gave them the edge in a 67-60 win for third place in the tournament.
The Wildcats were led by Trey Bingham who scored 17 points followed by James Preston, 14, and Taylor Stell, 13.
Lake Highlands scored 24 points collectively in the first and third quarters, but ramped it up in the second and fourth quarters to score 23 and 20 points resepectively.
The Wildcats play again Tuesday at 7:30 at Mesquite High.
