Lake Highlands beat District 9-5A rival Richardson Tuesday, 25-23, 28-20, 25-19, 16-14, respectively, to finish the district schedule with a perfect 12-0 record and earned another District 9-5A Championship.
Junior Matalee Reed played a spectacular game leading the team in kills, 16, blocks, 10, and tying teammate Katie Bott with 17 digs.
Teammate Ann Jaggars added eight aces to the Lady Wildcats offensive effort.
Lake Highlands will face Naaman Forest with time and place TBD.
