Elementary and junior high girls can dance ‘til they drop in October as “Dancing With the Dettes” returns to Lake Highlands. Current members of the LHHS Highlandette line will work with attendees on Tuesday, October 12th (that’s a school holiday) in the LHHS gym and dance studio from 9 am to 2 pm. Later that week, the budding dancers will have a chance to shine under Friday night lights as they perform with the Dettes at LH vs. Berkner football pre-game festivities at Wildcat Ram Stadium.
Registration forms are available here and should be mailed to the school with a fee of $50. Dancers will receive a Dancing with the Dettes t-shirt and free admission to the football game. And Wildcat fans – mark your calendars to arrive a little early to that game to watch little Dette Darlings perform. Go Cats!
