Lake Highlands High has won all three of it’s District 9-5A matches, and more impressively has not lost a single game within the three matches.

Friday night, Lake Highlands won three straight against Sunset High, 25-12, 25-9, 25-5 respectively.

“We want to keep teams under 10 points on average each match,” Matalee Reed, junior middle blocker said. “We want to score as many service aces as we can and I think we achieved almost all of our goals for the night if not all of them.”

The Lady Wildcats held Sunset to an average of 8.6 points per game, and finished the night with seven service aces. Reed finished the night with 20 kills, four aces and three blocks.

“She was actually a little more aggressive than usual today,” Melissa Crown, Lady Wildcats head coach said. “She’s a dominant middle so I wish she would be meaner all the time.”

Lake Highlands is scheduled to play at Berkner High School Tuesday at 7:30 p.m..
