LH Media Center is set to open in August at Skillman Plaza next door to Burger Spot. This will be the first storefront for the familiar business, formerly known as Dallas Digital Studios, which is owned by longtime Lake Highlands residents Cindy and Scott Causey.

The new store will include a drop-off computer diagnostic center—customers can drop off their computers for repair opt for the “onsite service DDS has offered for years”.

“We’ve always offered our customers reasonably priced computer service at their location,” said Scott Causey. “Now we can give them a choice: they come to us or we’ll go to them. Either way, we will continue to offer repairs, upgrades, installations and training at a lower price than they can expect elsewhere. ”

For more than 10 years, clients such as the LHHS bands and choirs, White Rock North School, various individuals, churches and businesses in the neighborhood have sought out DDS for live-event video production, editing, duplication, wedding videography,  video photo albums, VHS to DVD transfer, and website development and hosting.  These services will still be offered at the new store with additional services planned including video greeting cards, film transfer to DVD, and in-stock computer accessories for sale.

“Eventually we’d like to offer workshops and seminars on the latest gadget, computer software, photography and videography. . . things our customers are interested in and enjoy,”  Cindy Causey said. “Our goal is to become the neighborhood source for technological information, innovation, and service.” For more information, visit lhmediacenter.com or email cindy@lhmediacenter.com.
