Training, equipping and transporting the Wildcat Marching Band to football games and other gigs isn't cheap, so the kids are selling Passbooks and they hope you'll help.
The LHHS marching band is selling Passbooks to raise funds for this year’s activities, and they’re hoping you’ll support the cause. The coupon books are available for $25, and for that you get hundreds of discounts to businesses in Dallas – many right here in LH. There are four $5 coupons to Tom Thumb (that almost pays for the book), and some for Highlands Café, The Store in LH, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Picasso’s, Zato, Aeropostle, Delia’s, World Market and others. Blogger CAROL TOLER and her husband, Toby, are the parents of four LHHS graduates. She has an MBA from SMU and is the proud recipient of the Exchange Club of LH's Unsung Hero Award and Councilman McGough's Blake Anderson Public Service Award. She received LHHS PTA's Extended Service Award, FMJH PTA's Charger Award and a Life Membership from the LHFC PTA. She has moderated candidate debates for Dallas Mayor, Dallas City Council and RISD Trustee races and taught seminars on garnering publicity for nonprofits. She completed training with Dallas Truth, Racial Healing and Transformation and Inside RISD, and she's a sustaining member of LH Women's League.
