Glee, the FOX TV hit series starring LH graduate Mark Salling, has been nominated for 19 Emmy Awards. Nineteen. Only Spielberg & Hanks’ World War II drama, “The Pacific,” earned more nods. Salling plays Glee’s mohawk-wearing bad boy, Puck.
The nominations were announced today, and Glee is up for Best Comedy Series. Matthew Morrison (Mr. Schuester) and Lea Michele (Rachel) were nominated individually.
The 62nd annual Emmy Award ceremony will be broadcast live from Hollywood August 29th. Late night talk show host and Saturday Night Live alum Jimmy Fallon will host.
