Topic two is a rehash of a heated blog conversation we had a couple of years ago, after Carol Toler wrote about the children at Mi Cocina who ruined her date night. We returned to the conversation after a restaurant in Canada was sued by parents for barring young children.
Finally, we discuss the fate of the Lake Highlands North Recreation Center — the fear that “closed for renovations” could mean “closed forever”, as the city announces plans to close a number of its rec centers, but also the hope in words of encouragement from a tireless park and recreation center advocate in our neighborhood.
