Finally, we discuss the fate of the Lake Highlands North Recreation Center — the fear that “closed for renovations” could mean “closed forever”, as the city announces plans to close a number of its rec centers, but also the hope in words of encouragement from a tireless park and recreation center advocate in our neighborhood.
