Neighborhood videographer and LHHS graduate Aaron Bratcher is raising money to fund a documentary about struggling families in Africa. Not only are his subjects living in poverty and amid violence and political unrest, but they are also dealing with disabilities or they have children with disabilities. For that, they are often shunned. The image below will lead you to the trailer, which seriously tugs at the heartstrings. The so-called “kickstart” fundraising is complete, but if you’d like to donate to help Bratcher and his partner finish the movie, visit ctcinternational.org, where you can designate a donation for this project. Read about Aaron Bratcher and his project in the July Advocate.
