LHHS rising senior Emily Hawkins is a familiar face to those who patronize student productions in Lake Highlands, but she’s finding a whole new audience performing in “A Grand Night for Singing – A Rodgers and Hammerstein Revue” presented by Mesquite Community Theater. Emily is one of five featured singers sharing selections from all the great R&H musicals including Oklahoma!, State Fair, South Pacific, The King and I, and The Sound of Music.

Emily played the role of Annie Sullivan in the LHHS one act play The Miracle Worker, and she gave wonderful performances in LHHS productions of Little Shop of Horrors and A Piece of My Heart. She played Liesl in the Garland Summer Musicals production of The Sound of Music.
