LH and Berkner are tied for third place in the 9-5A standings while Richardson is the frontrunner with an 8-1 record.

The Wildcats will look to avenge a 3-2 loss to Berkner in the first half of district play. The rematch is at 7 p.m. Friday at Berkner (JV at 4:30).

On Saturday, LH takes on area-ranked Richardson at 1 p.m. at Wildcat Field. The Cats were shut out by Richardson, 3-0, in the previous matchup.

Next week, LH plays W.T. White, Creekview and Molina to finish the 9-5A season. At 6-3 in district play, LH controls its own destiny, meaning it will make the playoffs if it wins out. Otherwise, each win that the Cats can pick up is crucial.
