Everyone’s talking about Green Zone—as much as anyone talks about movies post Oscar, that is—and the fact that State Rep. Allen Vaught, whose district 107 encompasses parts of East Dallas and Lake Highlands, has a role, which is very cool. Even cooler—I just came across this Back Talk post from 2008 in which we wrote about Vaught, his relationship with Matt Damon and director Paul Greengrass, and his behind-the-scenes experience.
Contrary to what the copy says, I know that’s not Greengrass in the photo. I think it’s the writer Rajiv Chandrasekaran. But, all-in-all, it’s a fascinating read.
