The Lake Highlands girls golf team’s season is in full swing. Juniors Jessica and Annie Ritter, twin sisters, are the oldest members of the team coached by Jim Kratz.
The Ritters are joined by sophomores Maria Caulderon, Lizzie Housewright and Sarah Weinberger, as well as freshmen Morgan Acton, Sydney Carrington, Dallas Crotty and Chloe Snider.
Jessica Ritter said she generally shoots in the high 70s, Weinberger averages in the mid-80s and the rest of the team falls in the mid-90s to low 100s range. She said the team should finish in the top two spots in the district along with Creekview.
The team finishes the regular season with the Ranger Ladies Spring Classic on March 29 and the IQ Media Invitational on March 30. The district tournament is April 5-6.
