Former LHHS principal Dr. Bob Iden is set to throw out the first pitch in today’s home opener to officially mark the start of Wildcat baseball season. Opening Day festivities also include the team’s own Tim Davis and Martin White, doing double duty as Espree members, singing the national anthem to start the game. LH plays Berkner at “The Cat,” baseball’s version of The Boneyard, and the team is hoping for a big crowd. The JV plays at 4:30 pm and the ceremonies get started just before the 7 pm varsity game. Go Cats!
