The Wildcats became Bi-District Champions tonight, scoring two goals in each half for their 4-0 win.

First, Abdoulaye Faly played a big free kick to freshman Jack Blanton, who put the ball in the net. Next, Carter Bredehoeft (shown here being congratulated by Big Guy Abdoulaye) served a crossing ball from the corner to Emmet Kumeh for the score.

Below is video of the third goal – that’s Abdoulaye with the long ball to Reagan Dunk, who made a dandy pass to Joel Mendoza and Joel chipped the ball over the goalie’s head and into the net. Finally, Jack Blanton played a ball to Reagan Dunk, whose shot was deflected by the defender. Luckily, basketball season ended and David Harris switched sports to join the team, because he was perfectly positioned to kick the rebounding ball right into the net for the win.

Our opponent for the area finals will be Tyler Lee. Stay tuned for day, time and location here on the blog. Go Cats!
