The College and Career Center at Lake Highlands High School will host a free FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) workshop this afternoon, March 22, and Wednesday March 31 in the school library.

Leading the session will be Dr. Brenda Prine, who’s been guiding the students in their preparation for college, SAT testing, college search and application process. Now that most have chosen a school and been accepted, they – and their parents – have to find a way to pay for it. This session will help. The come-and-go workshop will be held from 4:30-6:30 pm, and it’s a hands-on event, so bring your income tax info so she can help you complete the complicated form and get it submitted.
