D.J. Sandidge is a senior on the Lake Highlands softball team. A two-sport athlete, she also plays on the Lady Cats basketball team in addition to being a student trainer during football season.
Q: How do you work out your schedule being a two-sport athlete, and having been a football trainer?
A: Actually, it works out. Over the years doing this, I’ve learned to prioritize, keep long hours ton maintain my grades and run on empty. Drinking Dr Pepper helps.
Q: What are you going to be doing next year?
A: I’m playing softball and studying at Hendrix College [Conway, Ark.]. Go Warriors!
Q: Which do you enjoy more, basketball or softball?
A: Softball, I love it and it makes me happy.

Q: Tell us about some of the other organizations you are involved in.
A: I play select/club softball for NXS and try to get my recreation soccer games with the Shamrocks.
Q: What do you like to do outside of school and sports?
A:I like to hang out with my friends, watch movies, travel, read, eat as much food as possible and, hopefullly, catch up on some sleep.
