Police are reportedly ruling vandalism at Greater Cornerstone Baptist Church in Lake Highlands a hate crime because of the graffiti’s message — “God hates",“Burn in Hell" and Satanic symbols were spray-painted along the church walls and a bus parked in front of the building.
The pastor, David Wilson, had planned to wait on an insurance agent to assess the damage, but later said he couldn’t bear looking at it any longer, so volunteers got out there today and cleaned it up.
