The LH baseball team settled for a 4-4 tie with Wylie in its first game of the South Grand Prairie Warrior Classic. Tournament rules limited the game to six innings because of time constraints.
Senior Judson Luther pitched all six innings of the game for the Wildcats.
Junior Blake Woodson provided the Cats’ only extra-base hit with a double off the outfield wall.
Another multi-hit performance was turned in by senior Cameron Bodell who went 2-for-3 at the plate.
The Wildcats continue tournament play at noon Friday against Irving.
