It was a raucous crowd at Austin’s Delco Center Saturday as our own Isaac Grieder made LHHS history by winning state with an undefeated season. A large group of wrestlers and parents made the trip to support their teammates, along with several students who came to cheer for their buddies. Placing 8th as a team against many strong programs across the state was an exciting accomplishment, but the highlight was Isaac Grieder winning the state title. Forgive me for the chaotic video – fans were screaming and jumping and bumping all around – but you’ll get the idea. Isaac (in black) was focused, disciplined and determined, and he made it happen to the delight of a jam-packed arena.
