The Wildcat boys’ and girls’ soccer games will be played tonight, shifting from their regular Tuesday night slot due to TAKS testing Wednesday. No extracurricular or athletic events are permitted the night before TAKS tests to allow students to stay home and get a healthy dinner and plenty of rest.
The soccer team faces Richardson tonight, in a rematch eagerly awaited by the boys. The Eagles defeated the Wildcats early in the season, at a time when Richardson was on a winning streak. They have faltered lately, and the Cats are hoping to even the score playing on home turf.
The Lady Cats beat Richardson 3-2 last time, and they’re hoping for the same result at Eagle-Mustang Stadium. Both games kick off at 7 pm, JV at 5:30. Go Cats.
