A: My favorite subject this year would have to be AP Government. In that class, I get challenged and well-prepared for college. It gives me a better understanding of how college work will be.

Q: What is the best thing about being a Peer Helper?

A: The best thing to me is the great feeling that I get from knowing that I’m changing a kid’s life just by spending time with them. Also, I like bonding with fellow Peer Helpers.

Q: If you were not on the basketball team, are there any sports you would have liked to play at LH?

A: I would have played football as a defensive end. I actually regret quitting football because I was pretty good.

Q: What has been your favorite memory so far about this basketball season?

A: The memory that I am going to keep is the after-game dinners. We just bond at the dinners and talk. The places we usually eat are Wing Stop, Jakes and Cici’s Pizza.

Q: What is your favorite video game?

A: My favorite game, when I play games, would have to be Call of Duty. I don’t play often, but I love it.

Q: What are your plans for college?

A: My plan is to attend Texas A&M Commerce and major in sports studies/kinesiology. Also, I’m going to try and walk on to their basketball team. I may try and get some sort of internship with their basketball program, which could lead to a job.

Q: Do you have any specific pre-game rituals?

A: I really don’t do much but stretch and think about my job on the court. But, I always pray and talk to Coach.

Q: What will you miss most when the season ends?

A: I will miss my teammates the most, along with the bus rides to the games. Just the overall fun I have with my teammates.
