Not an official Olympic sport, but … Freebirds World Burrito will host a Super Monster Burrito Eating Contest Saturday, Feb. 20, at all three Dallas locations — that’s Old Town on Greenville in our neck of the woods, or Richardson if you live in the north sector of Lake Highlands — beginning at noon. A $12 entry fee gets you in the race to finish the Super Monster Burrito first, for a photo on the Freebird wall, a Fanatic card with a preloaded free burrito, a Freebirds T-shirt, and of course, bragging rights. Note: If you live in my house or work in my office, please disregard the thing about the burrito-eating contest.
