The LH swim team will compete in the Region III-5A swim meet at the Mansfield Natatorium Saturday morning. Because of the winter weather, the meet has been condensed into a one-day event.
The seeding has been favorable for the Cats, especially for the ladies. Both the 200 medley and 200 free relays are seeded in the all-important top eight, in addition to Paige and Peyton Slater in both of their individual events
"We are ready to swim our fastest tomorrow, and see where we end up as far as making finals at the end of the day", senior Laura Jean Muller said.
The top eight swimmers from the preliminaries move on to the championship final. New this year is a consolation final for those who finish 9-16, which will benefit the LH boys, who are seeded in that rage in a majority of their races.
