All RISD parents are invited to the JJ Pearce auditorium Thursday night at 7 to hear a free talk by motivational speaker Cara Filler, who will be discussing peer pressure, risk-taking, and traffic safety for teens. Filler visits more than 200 schools nationally to talk about the power of choices, and the role parents can play in helping their kids make the right ones.
The free presentation will last about an hour and a half, and no reservations are required.
