The Wildcats defeated Frisco Centennial Friday night with the help of sophomores Joel Mendoza and Abdoulaye Faly, playing in their first game this season. Tall-guy Abdoulaye won the war for headers often, managing to get his head on the ball and take possession for the Cats. Joel, shown here accepting congratulations from his teammates, scored twice in the second half for LHHS’ 2-1 win.

The Cats begin district play Tuesday night, facing Skyline at The Boneyard at 7 pm.
