It appeared over the last few days, right between the Dallas Children’s Theater and Home Depot. The stoplight intersects Skillman at Impala Lane, a tiny street that runs northwest from Abrams to Skillman then, according to Google maps, turns into Summer Creek Circle where the Timber Creek development is supposed to someday exist.
The light doesn’t yet function; the red, yellow and green circles are covered. I’m assuming it was added in anticipation of increased traffic once the Timber Creek development, er, develops, but in the meantime, I’m sure it will be appreciated by patrons of the theater as they collectively exit performances every weekend, as well as parishioners of New St. Peter’s Presbyterian, who meet in the theater, as they leave services.
