LH pulled away in the third quarter, when the Wildcats outscored the Raiders, 20-4.

The team was also aided by the return of senior football players Ricky Zorn and Matt Werther. Both suited up for last Tuesday’s contest, but only Zorn was put into the game and saw very limited playing time. Both saw action in Saturday’s game.
With the addition of Zorn and Werther, the Wildcats gain some much needed experience before district play begins on December 18 against Skyline.

"I think we have a chance to be really good this year,” Zorn said. “We have speed and quickness at every position and I think we have more depth than we’ve had the past two years I’ve been playing."

The Wildcats’ next game is 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at home against Naaman Forest (JV at 6 p.m.).
