If you aren’t reading Jacquielynn Floyd daily, you should be. She cracks me up.

Ms. Floyd (when she spoke to the Lake Highlands Women’s League, she invited us to call her Jack, as her friends do), wrote a column Tuesday about her experience at her neighborhood market with an “obstreperous” child and her hapless mother. I was laughing out loud at her hilarious story.

I hope you’ll enjoy her story as much as I did. Those of us who’ve raised imperfect children and who have had similar encounters in grocery stores and restaurants around the neighborhood can certainly relate.
